Important new addition to SFI BASICS

SFI added an important new component to the SFI BASICS "roadmap" that is located on your SFI homepage.

Previously, SFI Basics included three steps:

1. Referring TripleClicks Members
2. Sponsoring SFI Affiliates
3. Duplication

SFI now added 4th step,
4. Maximize your earnings.

Though this vital step has of course always been part of the SFI system, SFI recently realized it should be incorporated right into SFI Basics so it is not overlooked!

Introducing...SFI RULES OF SUCCESS

Over the last sixty years, literally millions of people have participated in our type of business. And through many years of trial and error, and hundreds of millions of dollars spent on figuring out what works and what doesn't, we have a very clear picture of what leads to success.

Likewise, we have established our own set of rules for success based on our 11+ year history and the investment of literally millions of dollars and hours by SFI and its affiliates.

I have distilled for you all of this into the following "SFI Rules Of Success" (which I've embellished with some of my favorite quotes).

And so it's very simple: If you want to SUCCEED, you must follow these rules. If you want to risk FAILURE, ignore them.

Over the coming weeks, because it is such an important new piece, we'll be talking a lot about the SFI Rules of Success, and you will see a lot of new links and references to it added to the SFI system.

In the meantime, start learning the rules and start telling your team members about them. And, most importantly, start actively APPLYING these rules to your business and life.

Tip for Team Leaders (and future Team Leaders): You can write a newsletter (to send to your team) and/or a training article for your team Website about each rule. Create up to 20 separate articles. SFI Pay-Per-Action program unveiled!

SFI is pleased to announce today our new Pay-Per-Action program--an optional, supplemental income program available immediately to all SFI affiliates. Income is earned by getting others to take actions–such as filling out online forms.

Each time you generate a qualified PPA, you'll earn a bounty. The amount of the bounty varies depending on the action. Two PPAs are currently available (with more in the works):

SFI Fastrack

Effective today, we have launched a new program for new affiliates called Fast-Track. Fast-Track awards special bonuses to any new affiliate who joins the TripleClicks Booster Club within their first 15 days in SFI.

These bonuses include an allotment of co-sponsored affiliates (CSAs) and free VersaPoints. Additional bonuses may also be added in the future. For more details on the current Fast-Track bonuses, click HERE.

Note that Fast-Track REPLACES the former "1500 points-in-15-days" program. However, if you joined SFI in the last 15 days, you are eligible for the rewards of BOTH programs. In other words, if you accumulate 1500 points by your 15th day, you'll receive the rewards of that program. And if you also join the TC Booster Club within the 15 days, you'll receive the rewards of that new program as well.


"Why the change?"

As we talk about in LaunchPad lesson #7, SFI's success–and your success as an SFI affiliate–is tied directly to the success of TC. SFI goes as TC goes!

Hence, it only makes sense to focus new affiliates on TC. It should also mean bigger commission checks because the Booster Club creates buyers, not just point accumulation.

By the way, if you are not already a TC Booster Club member yourself, what are you waiting for?! Remember, everyone you are the sponsor of and/or Team Leader for is aware of your Booster Club membership (or lack thereof). If you want everyone in your group in the Booster Club, make sure YOU are also a member. They are following your lead!!

SFI QuickTip: Focus on your affiliates' concerns

Did you know recent surveys of workers and retirees show more than 25% of workers and retirees say they have less than $1,000 saved for their "golden years"?

What does this mean to you as a business leader and SFI Affiliate Sponsor? Discussing the disparity of your affiliates' retirement dreams with their possibly low current retirement savings can motivate them to take action NOW with an SFI business of their own.

You can focus on the contrast of today's retirement savings and lifelong dreams in your ads for prospective affiliates. SFI has made this easy with these handsome financial- and retirement-focused banners you can start to use immediately.

Additionally, consider broaching the topic in a segment in your next communication or newsletter with your team. Point out the extra-income benefits of an SFI business of their own and refer them to the SFI Affiliate Center for assistance and resources. Access your Genealogy and click the "Send an e-mail/team mail to this group" link for an easy way to send e-mails to your team. You could also use the PSA Mailer to send your message to just your personally sponsored affiliates.

Stay connected with SFI Instant Messaging

Use SFI's built-in instant messaging to communicate in real time with both upline and downline members right from within the SFI Affiliate Center.

To use SFIM, just look for the "yellow SFIM bubbles." That is, on your Genealogy, on My Movers, on Affiliate Manager pages, and on your Upline Team page, you'll see a small bubble icon. If it's gray, that indicates the person is not online at the Affiliate Center. If the bubble is YELLOW, however, that means they ARE online currently and you can initiate an online conversation with them instantly.

Initiating a conversion is super simple. Just click on the yellow bubble!

On their end, a pulsating "SFIM" icon will appear in the header (of the Affiliate Center). Clicking on this icon will allow them to proceed to a live instant messaging conversation with you if they wish to.

Here are four tips for using SFIM:

1. The easiest way to see who's online right now is to go to your genealogy and choose the "Online" filter. Select Online = Yes, then click the "filter" button and you'll see a listing of everyone in your downline who is currently online at the Affiliate Center. You can now initiate conversations by clicking the yellow bubbles beside their names. If no names appear, this means no one in your downline is currently visiting the Affiliate Center, but you can of course try again later.

2. If you're chatting with a person who's primary language is different than your own, keep Google Translate open in a another window browser so you can cut and paste text as needed to translate your conversation.

3. Just as this article emphasizes, when you're initiating contact with downline members, focus on how you can help them. Use SFIM to support and assist your downline and you will build a stronger, more profitable group.

4. If you see the yellow bubble beside your sponsor's name in the top right corner of the header at the Affiliate Center, this indicates your sponsor is online currently. Click the yellow bubble to initiate a conversation with your sponsor.

More WOW on SFI & Tripleclicks ECA

Until now SFI Tripleclicks had 620 more companies apply to become ECAs (with the pace increasing daily) and nearly 1000 new products have so far been approved and added to TripleClicks.

For Companies should be noted that SFI "multi-lister software" software that will allow hundreds of products to be imported into the system at once--is not yet available (it should be next week). This is significant, because some of the biggest companies that have signed up for the ECA program are likely waiting for the multi-lister (rather than submitting products one by one, which is the only method available currently).

Note that if you use PayPal, different rules will apply however. For example, PayPal will process your payment on the same day every month. So if you set up your PayPal Standing Order on the 24th of the month, it will always be processed on the 24th of the month (meaning VersaPoints won't show up until at least the 24th of each month). Another example is that cancellations will also have to be handled directly with PayPal.
